This past week I had the great pleasure of attending the annual Poppycon, when members of the author group I belong to, the Tall Poppy Writers, meets in Chicago for a weekend of bonding, book talk, guest lectures, and discussing Poppy business. We’re a fierce bunch of female authors who promote each other’s works. I am proud to be a member of this award-winning group.

Our founder, Ann Garvin, is hilarious and some of her tweets laugh-out-loud. Our Poppy chef, Amy Reichert, kept us fed over the weekend. All the food she prepared was homemade and delicious.
