A quick word to let you know two of my novels set by the sea, ONE LAST DANCE and WOMAN IN BLUE (formerly titled “Once in a Blue Moon”) are on sale for a limited time only, for just $1.99 each.
Fortunately, the current travel bans in my home state of California don’t apply to the imaginary journeys books take us on. So I invite you to pack your virtual bag and take a trip with me. In each of these bestselling romantic novels I explore sister relationships, a subject I know well as one of five sisters.
One Last Dance begins with the explosive news three sisters receive on the eve of their parents’ 40th wedding anniversary: Their dad has been shot dead by their mom. Now they must solve the mystery of “why,” a journey that busts family secrets wide open and reveals the cracks in their own lives.
Woman in Blue is the tale of two sisters, one a successful bookstore owner, the other the perennial screwup who turns up at her sister’s doorstep after an absence of many years. Now each is left to disentangle the knots in her family’s ties while finding her own way in life. And finding love, of course.
Speaking of imaginary trips…My most recent fictional journey was a 5-star read that had me turning the pages and introduced me to some memorable characters. I bought The Brilliant Life of Eudora Honeysett at the urging of a friend, and how glad I am that I did. It’s beautifully written and deeply felt. I was wiping a tear from my eye at the end. What are you reading that you recommend?
