She’s baaaaack. Yup, that would be me. Just spent the past month holed up doing my annual writer’s retreat (yes, that’s singular – unless me, myself and I makes for plural). So if you haven’t heard from me in a while, that’s why. Hey, it’s for a good cause. That way I can get the books out quicker.
Speaking of which…I am THRILLED to announce that my newest release, THE REPLACEMENT WIFE is coming out next week. Tuesday 3/27 is the official launch date. And the digital edition is being offered at the special price, for one week only, of $4.95. I’m way excited about this because it means more readers can afford to download and thus see what I’m all about. The story is about a professional matchmaker who’s told she has 6 months to live. She’s dying and she’s desperate…desperate for her husband and children to be in good hands after she’s gone. So she hatches a scheme to find the perfect “replacement” wife. Thus, unwittingly, opening a Pandora’s Box. It’s the story of two loves….love gone wrong…and the triumph of love, all in one. Two years in the making, it’s my most personal story yet and one I had to dig deep into my psyche to bring to the printed page.
Now, if only I could transition from a month of solo living to being in charge of meals for two again. My dear husband has been living off take-out and is ready for some home-cooked meals. Heck, blame him if you think my next book is slow in coming…It’s all that time I spend cooking. (Just kidding! I love that I can do both – and he would happily live off takeout forever in service of the Cause).
