There we were, at the Stone Creek Bar and Lounge the week of BEA, the author gals who bonded on Twitter, sipping cocktails & finally getting to meet one another face-to-face. A unique experience for me – I feel like I know these ladies better than I do my neighbors down the hall. Please. We had a name-that-zit contest for the one Jen Tucker was joking about online. We totally go there. Anyway, the lovely and energetic Francine Lasala had the bright idea of bringing us all together to meet & greet with readers. Thus Book Buzz 2013 was born. 
It was a fun evening with a nice turnout, complete with our signature Pink Stiletto Cocktail & Pink Stiletto-shaped cookies. We sold some books, had some laughs, met new people. Tonight some of us are meeting up again at my place, minus the glitz & high heels. My feet are still aching from last night. Not that it wasn’t totally worth it. Let’s face it, we ladies will put up with almost any amount of discomfort to rock a pair of fab high heels.
